Order Of The Phoenix put me off reading the books for a while. It was a chore to read in places, what with its constant negativity and Harry being such a grumpy arsehole. But I finally read The Half-Blood Prince this weekend, and it's great fun again. Much, much, much better. Anyone else read the Potter books?

I reckon I've worked out what's going to happen in the last book. 8)

Yup. Just bought "Goblet of Fire" DVD from tesco this morning. Gonna sit down this arvo for some Hogwarts action...

The books are excellent, I cant really say I was disapponted in any of them, although I read Azkaban first, which sort of took away some of the surprises from the first book.

I have my thoughts about the last book too. Although somehow with Jks writing, I dont think she could fit it all in one book.

Yeah, Order Of The Phoenix was over-long. However, I think that The Half-Blood Prince was about the same length but the action seemed to fill the space, if you get my drift. When I think about that book I can almost see the film in my head, it was that vivid.

Great stuff - I'm not claiming it to be high literature or anything but good, fun-filled, easy reads.

You maybe right Dung.

It'll be a while before the truth is uncovered.

There was a reason why what you think is the last horcrux can't be the last horcrux but I don't remember what it is.

Fat lot of use, that is!

Anyhow, if it's not that, it's Harry, or some part thereof. If I could be bothered, I'd go through all six books and figure out what all the Horcruxes are. I bet she's made a point of mentioning them all really clearly.
