Cool...

I'd hazard a guess that it might be Hot Chip, but according to their MySpace page, it isn't... I could just see them supporting DM.

You mesn Electribe 101 supporting them on the 1992 Violator tour? No, I don't remember that at all :D They were excellent.

...as were Purity supporting them on the Singles tour back in '98/'99.

Then there was the Sisters of Mercy at the Crystal Palace Sports Stadium, but I can't remember who supported them later that year on the mini SOFAD tour, OR when I saw them on the Exciter tour...

Can't remember exactly but think it might have been Songs Of Faith and Devotion, support was Fad Gadget - at least in Manchester. It was not long before Frank Tovey died...

Electribe 101 supported them the first time I saw them on the Violator tour in Birmingham and they were indeed awesome. Rushed out and bought the album the next day.

2 occasions when the support act was better than the main act - Barenaked ladies supporting Beautiful South and DJ Shadow (in the round!!!) supporting Radiohead.

Electribe 101 were absolute quality. We've seen Billie Ray Martin a couple of times since and she's been excellent too.

Yup, it was Fad Gadget... Well remembered. I have memories of Frank Tovey wearing a full butcher's outfit now, including chainmail apron...

I heard that The Bravery were supporting but haven't actually seen any confirmation of it yet.

Electribe 101 with DM in B'ham were fantastic, one of the best gigs I've been too,DM at their very best (unlike the current shoddy gear   ).

I've dissected the DM site and can't find any mention of support acts, but only the tracklisting for the Martin Gore mix between the support and DM themselves.

If The Bravery are supporting, thats gonna suck!

I think The Bravery are supporting them on the entire European leg of the tour.

They opened on February 28th, when they played in Oslo.

Don't get your hopes up, they weren't all that great...

Hence my previous comment about them sucking...

Great, 45 minutes of the same boring guitar pop. Every song The Bravery have released sounds the same!!!
