I WILL NOT BE MISSING psapp FOR ANYONE OTHER THAN LONGRANGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went to see them last night and they blew my f*ckin socks off in much a similar sort of fashion as 1 Giant Leap got me, but in a silly'er qurkier way
I fully anticipated a bloke with a synth and a girl on vocal
nothing prepared me for the six peice band that bounded on stage with plastic trumpets, toy guitars and woollen cats

Heard some bad news tonight... Hexstatic are NOT playing at The Big Chill. Hard to imagine, but it's true.

Tickets have been sent out as mine arrived today. They're also giving away 3 free downloads from iTunes too, which is very nice of them...

how does one get one's grubby mitts on these free downloads? Or do you need a ticket. Or is there some sort of code?

Aww, how lovely. Are they exclusive tracks? Or do they come from the Take Me Home compilation or something?

Nope, it's just a voucher for 3 free tracks from iTunes - doesn't matter what you download. It's more a promotion for iTunes than for the Big Chill...

The addition of Bent Live and DJing does make the no-Hexstatic pill easier to swallow.
There's a huge list I want to see now, and that's not including the 'oh- that might be interesting if I'm passing' ones...:
Bent (Live and DJing – they play some fantastic tunes when DJing)
Plaid (DJing)
Sparks
Psapp
Toy
Guy Pratt
Arthur Smith
Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain (3rd time running!)
Tom Middleton vs Fred Deakin in Cosmic Fury
Coldcut
Dollboy (real fall asleep in a big tent on a sunny afternoon type music)
Phil Hartnoll & Longrange
Nouvelle Vague
The Proclaimers (just to sing Letter To America at the top of my voice)
Norman Jay on the Sunday afternoon (got to be done!)
Tonto’s expanding Headband
Mr Scruff
Freelance Hellraiser

Pretty much the same list that I also want to see, with the addition of Psapp on the recommendation of Kelv.

On some sadder news....
"Finally, Big Chill stalwarts Bent will be performing live at the festival, as part of (sniff) their farewell tour, so be prepared so shed a tear amidst the joy!"
Farewell...
