The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

"You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like - I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really"

Toy is an electronic duo formed by UK composer Alisdair Stirling and producer Jorgen Traeen from Bergen, Norway. Toy's playful tunes mix kids TV (Pingu, Radiophonic Workshop) and Japanese style electronica (YMO and Cornelius) with a touch of Scandinavian electro weirdness.
They also manage to combine a flavour of incidental/elevator music with beats and grooves to create infectious pop.

"Gimme the sight to see
another world outside that's full of
all the broken things that I made"
Been a Big Chill goer since '99 back in Larmer Tree and luuurved every minute of every one. A moment that stuck out in my mind was seeing Phil 2 years ago in the dance tent. It was absolutely blinding, and everyone seriously feeling the music, (looks at the tracey pics of 2 small lights bopping about, and remembers sprinting back from the stinking bogs upon hearing the DR? B-line). Then to be followed by ADF made me wonder where I would get the energy from to carry on, but those rudecore sinewaves done the job! I will of course pay you a well deserved visit this time too, loving the LRSP clips I've heard so far.
Unless you plug the wires directly into your skull, at the end of the chain is a set of speakers pumping back-and-forth turning ANY signal into analogue waves..."
