Another way is to get sooo baked that you "pass out" more than "fall asleep"

There were certainly enough of those inflatable matresses around. All I could hear on Thursday and Friday night was: pfft, pfft, pfft, pfft...

That's why an electric pump is worthwhile - inflates an airbed in minutes, rather than the exceedingly long time with a foot pump! I learnt that lesson very quickly at the first Big Chill I went to (and last year's Glastonbury)!
