Trust me, you can dance to the new Autechre live set, but it's much more intense in the dark, with just a feint glow from the exit signs etc.

LMFAO

now thats priceless, is it forum awards time yet ?

Now having been at the night in question, i would like to point out
I thought Ae were one of the best things i've seen for ages,
BUT I'd never seen them before

The Laser's their choice yes,
pointless and of little effect BIG YES
TOO QUIET

LFO has become silly these days

quite enjoyed Surgeon though

and now we can add a pissy pants promoter with obviously too much time on his hands and dwelling too much on the fact ya can't always please everyone

and as for petty comments, i'd do some research before throwing down gauntlets

as for the vids, I ain't bothering to look at them,
they're youtube phone clips by any chance,
hardly first class evidence

NOW I understand kagey's comment on CC's other thread.

Love your work boys, amazed by the amount of time you have on your hands but most entertaining. Not getting involved. I went to a CC gig in Manchester a few years back and it was pretty good, as in Rob Hall et al. was great = I had a great night.

Can't remember the last time I had an awesome night that I didn't solely put down to the artists.

Not knocking promoters I'm sure they have to work really hard to try and make things run smoothly and even then (as we've seen here!) not everyone is going to be happy. Not sure what a promoter could do to make me enjoy a night even if I didn't enjoy the music :?: - because we go for the music.

Phil, CC'd, Loopz :applause

Hope the night in Feb goes well, (loud vol, slow bpm, cheap beer etc.) tis an excellent lineup... would like to be there myself. :?
Mashed Potatoes? Why do hate mashed potatoes? (It's a hoax, I don't really hate them)

Likewise! :-)

Wished that I could go to the Norfolk festival in March (for Autechre, Clark, Rob Hall, etc), but got too many gigs (now) to be able to fit everything in - i.e. Lemon Jelly, Inspiral Carpets, Versus Cancer, A Guy Called Gerald - all in one month... :-o
