Season 1 of 24 is fantastic. What I've seen of the others are good, but they dont match S1 for edge of your seat tension.

Christian Bale looking decidedly unhealthy in 'The Machinist'. Good stuff, although could've explained it all a little better...

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Even more fun than the first one - can't wait for the third one. :)

Slither is great - it's not really meant to be original, it's a tribute to the old "body horror" films from the 70's.....

Well it's not a movie, but I just finished watching the anime series Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. Very mad (in the random dancing mushrooms-sorta way) and makes you say WTF out loud more than once. :)

Moviewise I haven't seen anything for a looong time, but the last one was probably Jurassic Park, which I rewatched for the billionth time and has been my favourite movie since I first saw it in the early nineties.

Or actually, now that I think of it, I probably saw Dumbo again after that. The alcohol induced hallucinations part makes me happy every time. :)

re Kvagga, Abenobashi is fantastic, just wanted to say that! Not quite FLCL, but close.

Lately I've seen a couple of excellent japanese films, including Waterboys, The Great Yokai War, Fudoh and Takeshis'. I can recommend all of them.

I barely see American films these days... Not my fault, not many of them are that good. Munich was pretty nice, though.
