Yeah great episode...at least the "incident" has become clear now. *edit* Actually just thinking, the incident is mentioned on the instructional Dharma Initiative videos, suggesting that something happened pre ep 20's Ben flashbacks.

As for the Jacob thing I'm seriously hoping the series doesnt go all "supernatural" on us. As then its pretty easy for them to do whatever they want and put it down to this to give some sort of explaination. To me it will be a bit of a cop out if we get to the end and the things which have been happening are simply put down to spiritual influences. To me would just be like getting to the last episode and Jack waking up on the plane and it was all a dream!!

Anyhoo...some clever peeps have got some screen grabs from the Jacob scene and posted them up on the Dharma forum...you all might want to check them out!

Bloody hell, I'm sat here shivering...I have just discovered something all by my little old self. Ok looking at one of the screen grabs in the link i just posted it occurred to me. Jacob looks very much like the images of christ we have come to know. Just did a google search on Jacob and Jesus and this web page turns up... Now this cant be a coincidence surely...

Read the text...so much of it is so similar to the events surrounding meeting Jacob in the old hut. I'm not sure what I am trying to say here...but if you read the bit that says Jesus and His Father wrestle in the darkness of Good Friday before God finally reveals His face to His Son. I'm not very clued up on religion so I'm totally clutching at straws but i genuinely feel i'm onto something. Locke is pivotal in this i'm sure. Also early on in the series didnt the others keep asking "are you HIM?" Its almost as if in a biblical sense they are waiting for someone to arrive at the island to release them like the Jews were freed in the bible. Dont people wait for the 2nd coming of Christ to free the world from our sins?

I may be wrong here as my knowledge of the bible is very poor.

What do you think?

So what you're saying then is that Locke will be back in 3 days? ;)

I notice they've been pushing the Hell angle again, something I've had a thought about for a while, but the coincidences are starting to get juuust a little too silly for my liking now.

Still, theres plenty of conspiracy theory stuff to keep me happy and it's nice to know that Ben is still the creepy psychopathic killer that we all know and love...

Dave, thanks for the DVD, top stuff :D

Just seen the last 2 episodes of season 3. The writers, directors, producers etc. are all bastards!

I think Locke or Micheal...

No, judging the way Jack spoke and acted, I think it was Ben too... Ben is the one person from the Island who'd be neither a friend or family.

What annoys me though is how they manage to always ask more questions than they answer...
