What Are You Listening To Now?

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Pink Floyd - A Saucerful Of Secrets

And before that it was Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict.

This the first time I've heard these and I gotta say it's also the first time any of their songs have clicked with me. Especially SSOSFAGTIACAGWAP is unbelievably fascinating. :)

Infected Mushroom - Cities Of The Future (Violet Vision Remix)

Some damn funky psy-breaks. The bassline reminds me of Girls (by Prodge).

I played that tune to Loopz once because it's like 1960s Autechre. :P

NP: The menu music from Lumines on PSP, which is probably by Mondo Grosso, but I dunno.

Hmmm, I'm selling my copy of the double-disc CD/DVD of this. I thought I'd give Four Tet one more try and got this (I always find things better when owning them rather than just downloading). I still find him utterly appalling. So the CD's going on Amazon Marketplace.
I can't remember why I said that.

Hixxy - Spaceman

I now found the happy hardcore remix I mentioned earlier. You'll be fine without it (I can't believe how bad the sound quality is)... :)

Indeed it is. I can just wonder how on earth they made it. :)
