Finally got around to watching the 1992 Chaplin.
I knew he was a controversial person but didnt really understand how much he did get up! I also didnt realise how early on in his life he was a millionaire! Quite a good film if you have an interest in the man.
oh and check this!
"Although Adolf Hitler was not at all a fan - in fact he had been misinformed that Charlie was Jewish, and therefore despised him - he was also well aware of how beloved Charlie was throughout the world at that time, and that was the reason he grew the Chaplin moustache: he thought it would endear him to the people. I watched Skeleton Key with some friends last night, and we quite enjoyed it. A moody horror movie with a great ending.

Some people don't get the Transformers. It's simple. They're big robots. And they change into things. And they fight. This is beautiful and mad. If you do not get this, there is something missing in your soul. - Paul O'Brien

Kids - shocking stuff but a brilliant film.
"You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like - I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really"
