Bit of a strange one this week, I didnt really get the significance of the background story on Jack.

Still a bit confused with the whole purpose of the others too...

I'm probably not the best person to tell you what happened as I'm still as confused as a baby racoon...but basically the background story was centred around Jack when he was in Thailand and met this Thai girl who could see people (i'm assuming thier souls) and could tell a person who they were. She did this with Jack when he forced her too after he followed her to her place of business (very strange as the locals seemed to treat her as this special being and kept giving her money for her services) to be honest i thought she was either a whore or lady boy! Anyway once she has seen who you are she has these tattoos she gives to the person to mark them of who they are. Which she reluctantly did for Jack, resulting in him getting a kicking from her brother...still with me? Ok well I cant remember what she saw in Jack but it freaked her and the locals out and he left Thailand. Oh and in the meantime back on the island Jack saved the bird who helped Sawyer and Kate escape from execution by negotiating with Ben offering to help Ben heal from the op...

I've probably missed loads here so you may wanna check the Lost official site for a episode guide! here!

Lost was fabulous on Sunday. Hurley is amazing.

Having been rather bored and disappointed with the last two episodes, this has restored my faith in the show's ability to entertain. I spent the last third of the episode grinning like an idiot, and the cool stuff with Kate, Sayid and Locke looks to be setting up a promising next few episodes. As long as they don't take their foot off the gas, season three could return to gripping form, at least for a little while.

Not watched it yet, but I agree that the last few have not been as gripping. I will be watching this one when I get home in an hour and a half

Can someone kindly tell me the episode numbers of this weeks (last sunday's) and the one before (the Hurley one) ?
I tried to go back to that site you posted Wils but it won't load for me anymore - think it's a problem with my work firewall or summat :(

I tend to hide from this thread just in case it reveals too much :)

Series 3 has been a bit pants imho. It has some interesting moments but generally pants. Sawyer in Ep10 was funny though.

Dolly -

ep10 is "Tricia Tanka is Dead" (lost car episode)
ep11 is "Enter 77" (last sundays episode)
