I have another question for you geeks err I mean guys
These midchloridians, leaving aside what they are cos I have no idea, when is it mentioned in EP3 about them initiating life in Anakin's mother? I don't remember that bit...

Hmm don't remember a mention of midchloridiansKarnorjax wrote:the whole Darth Plaguis thing with him creating life
and its hinted that palpy was his apprentice and that he killed him but not before teaching his apprentice everything he knew !

Also I thought Palaptine said that he killed Darth Plaguis, didn't think it was hinted at?

yeah he mention midchloridians in the film. i'm seeing it again on Saturday so i will try and find out exactly where he mentions this.
I dont think he actually said that he killed him but i believe its scripted well enough so that we (the people watching) know he did. I bet The Force website has all the answers so i will be taking a read there when i get a few moments spare (at work of course)

It's all during the opera scene, where Palpatine's laying out the history of the Sith. Maybe you were in the toilet or something?Dollydagger wrote:Hmm don't remember a mention of midchloridians![]()

He says that there was a powerful Sith called Dath Plagius who was even able to manipulate the Midichlorians to create life (and stop people dying). Then he says that he taught his apprentice everything he knew, who eventually killed him in his sleep. And then he looks really chuffed with himself, obviously hinting that he was the apprentice.

I hear that Lucas is going to make a one-off film now, set 100 years before Episode I, starring Yoda as the main character........
This it is hoped, will explain the origins of the Sith - and Dolly, you will be pleased to know my darling, that Mr Lucas will only be an executive producer and story writer on this one.....

I don't know about a movie (http://filmforce.ign.com/starwars/artic ... 371p1.html), but I know Lucas is currently developing two television series set in the Star Wars universe.
One is a computer animated adaptation of Clone Wars, The other is set in the time between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, and probably won't have any of the main characters. (http://filmforce.ign.com/starwars/artic ... 491p1.html)
