Still DJing regularly, probably taken a breather from recording after seeing one of their tunes so brutally slaughtered (Love story vs finally)in the pursuit of a hit single.

Presently listening to Bent 'exercise 5'

Yeah I hate that remix a lot - don't know why they let it happen - probably no choice.

Christ that takes me back ...
So III, during your travels through Floyds catalogue (which seems to have gone on for some considerable time now),have you aqcuired a favourite era? (with/without Barrat, with/without Waters?), a favourite album?

Surely you've heard them all by now?

NP- New Teenage Fanclub album... sounds good although treading familiar ground so far.

Nope still not listened to them all yet

I am very slowly working my way through the catalogue.

The Barret records are very 60's indeed and they're psychadelic, I like that, but the dark side of the moon to final cut era has to be my fave so far.

Don't know why none of the fans like Roger Waters anymore, Other than the whole taking control part.

Not listened to much post waters, not expecting much to be honest.

Making sure this post is in line with the subject of this thread - The Chemical Brothers - Out of Control.

It's not so much the taking control bit as the subsequent arrogance and petty-mindedness. Haven't heard much in a while about the feud but I have always had the impression that if Mr. Waters wasn't so full of himself that a reconcilliation would be possible. I think most Floyd fans realise that together the whole was more than the sum of the parts, but this is not gonna happen again

Ah - oh well. He's talented so as long as I don't have to meet him his arrogance won't bother me.

Currently listening to the Embryo - War and Pieces

Adam Beyer & Jesper Dahlback-the number in between.

One of my favourite tunes from last year.

Dahlback proving, once more, that he's incapable of slouching in the studio. On at The Key in Kings Cross@Playground on July 2,well looking forward to a trip down there for that.
