Not really a spoiler, but can smoeone please confirm that in some states in America you can freely carry around a huge stash of rifles and automatic pistols in an open container on the back of a pickup truck BUT pick up a hitchhiker and you can be arrested?!

Don't forget - the people who make these laws are currently running the world...

Happy days! I've just got series 1 and 2 on dvd now seeing as a lovely person got them from the states for me, super cheap as well. Gonna watch them all again and pick up on all the things I missed before venturing onto series 3.

I may wait til series 3 comes on sky to watch it now.
Sky Plus = the best.

I was wondering that myself

But that is the country where they rather have you watch people getting shot or beat up then seeying a nipple.

and the country where you can play in a porn movie at age 18, but can't see them untill you are 21

anywhooo, just saw episode 5. Now it's getting interesting :D
i must say, season 3 was a bit on a slow start...

Episode 5 made me think about the whole Heaven/Hell theories that were bouncing around way back in season one.

Very good, if not a little messed up, episode!

Bit gutted about Eko tho...

Eko :(

I'm sad that they're taking a break, but I'm sure the American/Canadian viewers will appreciate this approach. Last year was a horrible mess of a few episodes, then a multi-week gap, etc. It got to the point where I was never sure if the show was going to be on or not.

You can't legally have any kind of automatic weapon in any American state. Some states have pretty lenient firearms laws though. In many southwestern states, like Arizona, you can have just about any semi-auto rifle or pistol in your truck & you can keep it loaded. In Indiana it's quite easy to obtain a license which lets you carry a concealed & loaded pistol on your body, I know a few people who regularly do (though I don't really see the reason why). There are way to many f@ckin' guns in this country IMO.

I agree that my country also has a pretty f@cked up idea of what's proper & what isn't, especially when it comes to sex vs violence.

Now, for my theories on Lost.... I think the new Battlestar Galactica is WAY better.
