What Are You Listening To Now?

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

808 State - Pacific State (Massey's Conga Mix)

Nice update, and a good twist on a classic... Featured on the upcoming soundtrack to "It's All Gone Pete Tong" which also features a (unique?) edit of Orbital's "Frenetic" 8)

Pet Shop Boys - KDX 125 (a classic track off "Relentless" - that 'break' towards the end, when the bells start to chime gets me every time) :D

quantic soul orchestra - get a move on.
mr scruff cover and the funkiest 3 and a half minutes you'll hear this year.

mmm phil hartnoll is playing here on the 4th. my two favourite club nights are on the 3rd and 4th, the first is having their first ever all-nighter, the other is as always an all-nighter, both have lineups so good it's just silly.
i honestly can't reach a sensible conclusion about what the hell to do, but i have a very strong suspicion that sensible is gonna go out the window, i'm gonna do both, have 12 or 14 hours of clubbing heaven, then die horribly. my health is shaky at best, it's getting just a touch too close to glasto to risk fucking myself up with this sort of thing. but, as a wise man once said, fuck it, frankly.
