They're Russian and they were looking for Des, because Penelope Widmore, Des's ex, was obviously looking for him... Don't forget, her father (or her father's brother - read 'Bad Twin') is Clifford Widmore, who is a major partner in the Hanso Foundation and has links with Pak Heavy Industry too...
Walt (Michael's son) has no need to ask about Vincent, he's telepathically linked with him. Hence the visions of Walt appearing in the jungle and Vincent appearing straight after, the doctor asking Michael the questions about Walt etc. Did you not read the Hanso sponsored website about Labradors and their paranormal powers?
As for Charlie, he's a little shellshocked from the incident and isn't thinking straight...

Oh, i lost my man on a boat. let's look for an island with big electromagnatic happenings..
Maybe if she was looking for her father.. that would make some sense.
the funny thing about this series is that the tv show itself it a bit more down to earth.. as for all the websites and stuff are all a bit "out there" (paranormal dogs etc) it's like 2 completely different things to follow.

Tim, as I explained, Penelope Widmore is the daughter of Clifford Widmore who runs the Widmore Corporation. The Widmore Building also houses the head office of The Hanso Foundation and Widmore is on the board of the Hanso Foundation...
There are rumours that Penelope Widmore is also Persephone and if you've been following the stuff on the Hanso website, you'll know who that is...

This is just silly. I dont mind a programme with twists and turns which make you think but websites about paranormal dogs etc???
Maybe I need to get the dvds to understand more but the conspircy theories are doing my head in and it boring quite frankly.
Half the stuff you see you dont get find out the outcome which is fine - its throw away tv, I dont know how anyone can take it seriously.

i think it's nice if there are some other things you CAN find out about a show this way, but it's still a tv show.
In holland we get the show on tv. but if you just watch it there, there's no clue there's a whole other side to it. and not everybody looks on the internet for that.
I will try and find who this persephone is.

Lost 3 episode 00 was on the other week it was just a recap of what happened in the first two seasons and put it in cronological order.
Bit torrented it was very interesting and worth watching as season 2 was a long time ago for me.

Yeah i must admit i was a little disappointed with the end of series 2 as i was expecting more answers but in true lost style they answered a few but asked many more...meaning i HAVE to watch series 3!!
