Assault On Precinct 13 remake.
Not bad, but not a patch on the original.

The French version or the American one?
i.e. The excellent one or the shite one?
(Taxi I'm referring to, as far as I am aware there is only one Depeche Mode!).

i watched the american 'taxi'.
but i have a good excuse - i was on a plane. in fact, two planes in a row. and there wasn't much left to choose from, i watched 5 films in 24 hours. as well as watching some sitcoms, playing on the built-in snes

and reading a book.
but yeah american 'taxi' was trash...
taxi taxi

I didn't think too highly of the French Taxi either; then again, Taxi 2 really ruined it for me!

I found it really funny.
Not knowing much about french culture and humour (having lived in Spain for 8 years I didnt really get the spanish humour!), but I did find Taxi very amusing, taxi 2 was just as amusing for me. Quite tacky films admittedly but some of the humour is very dark and I really liked the trip hoppy soundtrack.

Its all gone Pete Tong - which was very enjoyable and Paul Kaye was excellent.
Be Cool - again very enjoyable and lots of laughs would recommend both for a lazy sunday afternoon!

Star Wars Ep III, finally.
Yes I'm a big Star Wars fan & no I don't have a good excuse for not seeing it in theaters. After seeing it though I'm glad I didn't spend the $$$.
I'm so disappointed with nearly every aspect of it. Lucas should have just left it all alone, done the three original movies & called it quits! The only thing I really enjoyed was the final battle between Obi & Ani, & even the way that ended let me down.
I have so many problems with the new film's stories & they just got worse with each movie. Everything mythical & spiritual about the original three films has been destroyed IMO.
Argh... Just eye candy. What a shame.
