But sure Steve, isn't that what here is for? 'Tis a fan site after all. If we can't be paranoid obsessive compulsives prepared to parse and disect every utterance by our heros looking for all the hidden meanings, agendas and linkages with the true meanings of life, then we'll just have to take it out into the 'real' world.
And we all know the troglodytes that really live out there are unprepared for that ...

Well said, there has been some reasonable questions & points discussed in this thread, and in my opinion some have deserved a bit more than a sarcastic put down.

Imagine the hoo-hah when "40" comes out....

is this really neccisary, we already have 2 definative retrospectives and a live album. It isn't giving us anything new. Why don't they just republises the previous best of albums. It's more annoying becasue i iknow i will still buy it.

Why have Impact on there twice?
Belfast - why not the Sasha remix?
Sad But True? - Good track but hardly a career highlight...Chime Crime/Transient/You Lot/Out There Somewhere Part 2 would be better,no?
No new track to celebrate 20?
No new reworkings of any tracks by Orbital?
No 3rd bonus limited edition disc with unreleased stuff/more remixes.

I guess that these things are always subjective, to me this could have been a stonker but it's pretty meh if the info's accurate.
Must be getting cynical in my old age....
new Orbital track would be cool!!!
reworkings of Orbital traxs by themselves would be ULTRA-COOL!!!! something like original Satan/1996 live/edit version of Satan..
3rd disc of unreleased material would be ever more UBER-COOL!!!!

My copy arrived in the post this morning. I love what's on the fold out cover, it's great and I'd really like a poster of it.
