For you Autechre fans, there's an interview with them in this week's 3D World (a weekly free dance music mag here in Sydney), where they come up with this quote I liked:

"We don't make hip-hop music but I think we're b-boys inside. I think we always will be. I'd be happy to takle on any of these hip-hop producers. Y'know, beat-battle on stage, a nice b-boy beat-battle, see who comes out on top. Take 'em all out, one after another basically 'cos I don't think any of them are b-boy anymore.

"There's people like Dre who are really famous now but Dre was never b-boy. Dre was a fucking homo from day one. All his early tunes were fucking rubbish. The only good one is that World Class by World Class Wrecking Cru. It's the only thing good he ever did. Everything else is well pony. I can't believe people think of that as b-boy now."

Yup, pub is the George Inn, 77 Borough High Street, SE1 1NH

Anyone coming from the tube, follow the signs to the bus/taxi rank (*NOT* towards the London Dungeons!), and then down London Bridge Street (past All Bar One, London Bridge Hotel, etc) towards Borough High Street. Then turn left, and it's near the Jubillee line entrance for London Bridge, just past the Post Office.

There's a map here

Found some more directions here:

"From London Bridge Station go south down the High Street. It's in the second or third alleyway on the left. From Borough Station go north up the high street and cross the road. It's on the right shortly before you come to the railway bridge."

I'm working from home tomorrow ( :P ), so can be there at any time - reckon I might meet Sid whenever he gets there!

Map to SeOne, btw, is here:

Image

"seOne london & Deep Blue are located on Weston St. (under London Bridge Station).

Exit London Bridge Station / underground via Tooley St. walk past the London Dungeons and Weston St. is the second Tunnel Road on your right."

Don't quote me on this, Steve, but I have a feeling you will be able to park virtually outside the club. I've been a couple of times and i'm (almost) sure I remember cars parked on the street.

I could be wrong, but I *think* that London Bridge is just outside the congestion charge, so if you avoid central London and approach London Bridge from the south, then no charge! :D

Obviously, those who drive will know more than me!! :P

Nah, it's inside the congestion-charging zone: charging stops at 6.30pm

Check http://www.cclondon.com for the details
