What Are You Listening To Now?

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Coldplay - 'Talk' (Francois K Dub)

Mr Kevorkian almost makes Coldplay not gay. But not quite.

I fuckin hate those cnuts. Just spent all weekend locked in a studio applying the JXl mix to an internal vid weve had to put together for a pitch. Jacques Lu Cont version is ok though. Well apart from when twat starts singing. Havent heard the Francois K mix - dont think I can listen to the tune in any format ever again though. By sunday night at 2am I was starting to twitch every time it came on.

Layo & Bushwacka - Feels Closer - loving it!

Fairmont - 'Gazebo'

Feels like I've heard this every time I've gone out in the last six months, but it's a smart bit of minimaliciousness so I'll let it off.

Lily - 'LDN'

Heard on her wannabe popstar MySpace page, and it's my favourite song of the day. It's like a chirpy summery 70s ska/reggae kinda song about London, wiv well modern lyrics innit. My favourite bit:

"There was a little old lady who was walkin' down the road,
She was strugglin' with bags from Tesco,
There were people from the City havin' lunch in the park,
I believe that it's called 'al fresco'"

Correction: listened to it a few times now quite loudly and it's classic PSB with a cracking lyric.
