I'm great! Need a job though  Being home for summer is nice. How are things going over there?

And, to give this post the slightest bit of legitimacy... last thing I watched was Ep3 again ( :x )

Watched The Howling last Friday. Definite contender for the worst film I've ever seen. Almost (but not quite) so bad, it's good.

Hitcherhiker's Guide, I liked.

Looking forward to seeing Team America at the weekend.

I saw Episode 3 on the weekend, and we also rented an Italian film called His Secret Life - it was about a woman who, after her husband's death, discovers that he had had a gay lover for seven years, and how she comes to know about the people that made up that part of his life.

Both were good.

Appleseed

A visually breath-taking anime, but since this was an "unofficial version" the first half of it was subbed by someone who didn't know English at all. I'll give you an example:
Before but the fire plants must expand in it suppresses. How not discusses all must catch Dunan Nuts this.
Now what the heck is that supposed to mean?! :D

Luckily the second half was subbed by another guy, so I got into the plot too. I definately recommend the movie. :)

I saw Episode III for the third time last night, but the last new film I saw was 'Lords Of Dogtown' last week. It's the story of the Zephyr sakeboarding team in the 70s – Stacey Peralta, Tony Alva, Jay Adams, etc. Basically the guys who turned skateboarding from a knobby rollerskating-style thing into a super-cool rock & roll street surfing thing. Got Heath Ledger and some other people in it. I liked it – great soundtrack too.

'The Howling's great! You should try watching 'The Howling 3: The Marsupials'! It's dreadful – set in Australia where people turn into were-marsupials, complete with hairy pockets on their bellies.

Over the weekend we watched 'Confessions of a dangerous mind' based on a true story, it's about an american TV producer who created programmes like Blind Date & the Gong show who was also secretly a contract killer for the CIA. Quite an intriguing film, not bad for George Clooney's directoral debut!

Tonight I'm taking the kids to see Millions, and am quite looking forward to it. (Danny Boyles 'Trainspotting' for kids!)
