Good review of the album in The Observer yesterday. Oh and the pic of Kate was nice too! (sigh)

I didn't realise the song was about Elvis :?
You wot???

If you listen to the words to the song, then its quite obvious however, it is hard to work out what she is singing about at the beginning.

Yeah I saw the video too.
Its on her offiicial website now as well.

Double posting, oops!

Ah yes the observer article.
Was annoyed because I didnt have that part of the newspaper so I therefore didnt see it.
But there was a good article about Goldfrapp in another section so that kind of made up for it.

It's funny as I thought she was definately looking older in the video and she seems to have developed a bit of a squint or a lazy eye.
No matter tho, she is still wonderful in my opinion!!

Ha Ha Jane, I thought that too, but I thought it would be too mean to mention it lol.
I hope she does a HMV| store appearance or something. Looks like camping outside may be imminent if she does.
You know how I feel anout roughing it but I most definately would for her.

It's the imperfections that make us human. Mind you if she wore sackcloth and ashes she'd still be a babe.

Duh, I hadn't noticed your new sig, how 'blonde' of me!
I can say in my defence that I've only heard the song twice now.

I just love this track - can't stop playing it at the moment. Not surprising really, anything Gilmour was ever involved in usually does it for me!

Can't wait to get the album.

Well King of The Mountain got to number 4 so thats quite cool considering only Radio 2 and Classic Gold were playing it (and before you ask, no I dont listen to classic gold by choice but its the one of the only frequencies we can get where I work)

Its shameful that Westshite are number one of course

Especially when it's a cross between Danny Boy and Wind Beneath My Wings.

Unbelievable but true.

PS. I think King of the Mountain is about Michael Jackson...

What a fantastic Album.
Really impressed. The second time I listened to it it really clicked. Expertly produced, wierd lyrics and a really countryfied trip.

Not too sure on the washing machine song though.
CD2 is definately floating my boat.
