Wipeout Pure Soundtrack Release date

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

There isn't a Royksopp tune in 'WipeOut Pure'...

On the subject of 'Wipeout', did anyone catch 'P.E.T.R.O.L' on Top Gear the other night? ;)

On the wipeout pure website there is a section about all the artists who contributed to pure and supplied thier music track. Royksopp was one of them. I remember hearing that thier track played on the menu screen, but I might be wrong.

Yeah! I did hear it! It amazes me how often a track of one of the CD's in my collection is used as background music. It amazes me even more that a lot of people find the CD's I play to be strange music, eventhough they have heard it before as background music to something or other. Shows how much people pay attention to the thing they hear.

Anyway, on topic, I thought I already had the Wipeout Pure soundtrack (dont ask), but I don't see a Royksopp - Curves track on it. Lots of other good stuff though, so I will definitely buy one ...

Nope all tracks are full length ! slughtly longer thant the Rip I downloaded of it someone put up on a gaming forum ages ago..

All tracks are in alphabetical order of artist with the exception of the bonus tracks which arent in the game just a nice way of distinctive promoting some of thier artists which is fair enuff and the tunes fit in nicely.

Biggest problem I have with the wey the tracks are organised is it makes Aphex twin track first so I can skip it.. I love Aphex but find naks acid just damn plain annoying,. when I play the game its taken off my playlist so I dont have to hear it and when I ripped a bootleg of the album to liste to in my car I left it out..

Album art is SO DAMN DULL !! least they coulda done is use the lil pics of the game of said artists.
Is there anyone there ??????? IS THERE ANYONE THERE !!!!!

It's shite. Utter tripe. Compared to the Analord series, it's abysmal and totally offputting when playing the game too, which is why I've taken it out of the in-game playlist.
