When i was a wee lil girl, i rather me mum not crushed those yukky tablets cos the bitter taste makes me feel like throwing up so swallowing them was preferred.
Whether its capsules or tabs, the trick is to collect some saliva in your mouth, welling them up by putting tip of tongue up against the roof of your mouth. Get ready a glass of water. Now lodge the capsule right in middle of tongue while keeping the saliva still welling in the back. Do not let the capsule melt on your tongue by gently rolling it towards the back. Now the capsule is 'riding' on your saliva. Swallow and take a quick but deliberate drink of water. With practice, you won't even feel its there. Now you are such a swallowing monster, suck on your fave 'tit'bit. lol

ANother tip is one that teddy swears by. Stick it in jelly and swallow or take it with a dollop of peanut butter

hm never had that problem myself, sorry. i have fond memories of calpol when i was little, but as soon as i started on pills (snigger) it seemed to always go ok.
not so long ago i was taking a couple of painkillers, a vitamin pill and two or three -large- calcium/magnesium tablets every morning, and i was quite happy to chuck them all in my gob in one go and knock back some water.

dave - im just like you.. i have these tablets i take when i feel a cold sore coming up and they are huuuge.. i just swallow two at a time with a bit of water. easy
