I'm pretty sure I've got the nothing left lyrics down pat, so heres my two cents:

Who-Oo-Oh was it
said they
oo-oo-oo
she'll heal you
nothing left
oo-oo-oo

Any opinions on my accuracy?

Oh and on the impact, the female "moaning" sounds more like:

Im-pact, the earth is burning, Im-pact.

It sounded like moaning to me for many years, one day it just clicked.

Oh and just to stir things up, I'll bring up another controversy that appeared on the old forum.

The voice sample in Times Fly. Is it a woman or Phil Collins?

for my money i'd say nothing left is all meaningless, and just sounds like 'nothing left' perhaps that inspired the title? i think it all sounds like its cut up put together to make a riff...

times fly? definitely a woman!

I knew Dave Mac was hearing things.

i always thought it sounded a bit like "go fin land" which when on paper looks nothing like no-thing left but the sylabols are the same. Recon it does just say nothing left though!!

For the longest time, I thought it was "Godzilla"

Certainly on Nothing Left 1, she seems to say "God - still - la".

Thank you all for introducing me to the concept that there may be actual words behind the nonsense! :D

And as for Impact, I always figured it was "burning, burning, the earth is burning, oooh, ahh".

GO FINLAND!

Actually I've been doing a lot more analysis on Nothing Left and if you play it backwards the following phrases can be detected:

1. Satan, satan, worship satan
2. Paul is dead (Sgt pepper sample, obv)
3. Buy the T Shirt
4. USB USB USB

They're a couple of scamps, those boyz....
