The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.
Yeah, I was expecting the Indusrty Standard Edit to be on the cd.
Got mine today btw, very good! (In a jewel case as well, not card thank god!) Some good tracks on here. I'm glad Illuminate's not on here (tho I wouldn't have minded the 12" Orbital remix). I would have liked it if the wipeout version of P.E.T.R.O.L and Initiation had been on here but never mind.
Love the design for the cd (the orbital time line in the shape of an "O" was a nice touch I thought!)
Well my cd finally arrived in yesterdays post, loving all the tunes but one small criticism...
The tracks Impact and Remind state that they are live recordings, is it me or can anyone else not hear a single person behind the music???
Must have been recorded during the afternoon sound checks!

I just got my proper CD album throught he post today and indeed the promo cd has Satan (Industry Standard 96 Edit) and the album has the Satan (Original 91 fade out) - which if I remember right was a mistake by the record company or something? I would've thought that the Satan 95 Reissue CD single Full Length would've been a better choice for the album...
there you go Nick I'm propping up that geek post at the minute..
Loopz: I know I keep asking (but thought it would say on the album sleeve) what year that "Remind" Live In New York is from (but it doesn't). There's no info whatsoever.
It sounds like an early 92/93 version. Is it from the US Communion Tour with Meat Beat Manifesto in 93?
got my cd copy about 5 days back. so its nice compilation, but new Orbital exclusive track would be cool and some remixes by themselves maybe even better.
those new remixes by Tom Middleton and Herve are nice, but originals are originals!
still dont understand why Lush 3 on all various releases over the years fades out with Impact and Impact fades out with Remind. dont tell me, they have it just in that state!!
booklet is nice with O dates around, but there are many things as most remixes missing :/

i was involved with the O dates thing but alas not all that i submitted could be used. I guess it would have looked a bit OTT or overcrowded if there was much more on there.
