I think I've lost the Global Gathering battle on account of the ticket costs, but I reckon on winning the Inverness war!

Cheers Loopz. I have a sneaking suspicion that there won't just be one night at Brixton. If The Specials can sell 5 and Morrissey 3, then Orbital must have a couple of spare dates up their sleeve. They must at least have the Saturday pencilled in

The chances of getting to Blighty for a second gig are slim and any effort by me to do so would be greatly frowned upon by the distaff side.
However, there may be a chance of getting to the land of Manc.
I heard mention of international dates. Perchance some more info may be forthcoming?

I'm hoping to do Manchester and Brixton. Big chill is in the bag and those will take me up to 55 times. I know you beat me Loopz, but you did cheat by doing the American tour
Hopefully they'll do the big G too. Please pleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease

Brixton, foreshore.
Does anyone know if this has been publicised outside of Loopz and the Orbital MySpace? Hopefully the advance notice will enable us all to get tickets OK.

Just read your email!!

He may well mean me, though I'm actually a fluffy bunny in real life. Welcome aboard Poppy <smiley>!
I'm doing Big Chill and Brixtonia BTW.

Yeah, I'm hoping the presale will ensure we get tickets OK. When you go to the NME ticket link it has Manchester tix for sale on Friday 30th at 9am, but no mention of Brixton (no doubt this will change just after I type this...)
I like the bit in the NME which says they have been inspired by 'ravey' types like the Klaxons & Pendulum - looks like we could be in for a PAAARRRTY or two...

wooh, I'm actually glad I didn't buy the Big Chill festival tickets yet. Not that I've decided I'm NOT going there, but at least I have a few alternatives now!
But do you reckon their sets will be mighty different in different locations? I mean length, specifically. Does anybody have any idea if the Brixton/Manchester gigs will be different somewhat from the festival shows, or do you think there's any difference at all? I'm just curious. I mean, if one show is one hour and another show is like TWO, I know where I'm heading!
But what the hell, this is just guesswork at this point.
Since I live in Finland, I can only come to one show max, or, at the VERY most London + Manchester (because they're so close together).
So I want to choose carefully.
Anyway I'm SOOOO excited about seeing you guys. Oh, and Orbital are OK too.
