More than likely mate! Small world isnt it! I think the one i saw it at may have been either a VW/Audi day (all german cars usually turn up though) Or the Rally Supercar day they have each year, cant remember.

They are so strict at CC on the soundlevels, a mate of mine has a very highly tuned Scooby and it failed whereas some of the cars going round the track at full bore make you wonder why!!!

I remember seeing the Dialynx Quattro hacking it round there and that definitely was louder than his car...

Speaking of fast Road legal cars, this used to cause a stir at Gti International a few years back...always quite amusing when the guy who had drawn to go head to head with "Bigdub" always got a massive head start on the 1/4 mile and always still got blown away!!!

Enjoy!
It was probably the VW day as I was there doing track sessions in my Pug. I didn't make it to the Rally car superday this year but am aiming to go next year. Castle coombe is an excellent circuit. Did you ever drive your car in anger on it?
Unfortunately not mate, timing was such that I never had the money for the aftermath costs of going on a track (new tyres and brakes etc etc) Besides I valued my car too much, seen some pretty nasty sights being towed back into the pits after going off at Quarry corner. I've been round as a passenger tho holding a camcorder!! Wicked circuit for sure! We should hook up at Rally supercar day 2007 mate.

Yep, Quarry always attracts the big accidents. I was racing against a scooby at a group B car club event and he ended up on his roof after going into Quarry far too fast. It definitely is the best place to spectate from.

We'll have to sort something out closer to the rally car day. Hopefully, if it's up to it, I may take the Evo round for a session or two.

That reminds me, I was giving my S2000 some stick up the mad-mile the other day (Cheese knows it) when an Enzo on demo from Romans came past me. Wahoooohooohooow - that's a 'kin quick car, the noise was fantastic - more tuneful than Orbital & louder than Pink Floyd. What more do you want????

LEWIS HAMILTON!!!!

Rookie year.
Podium every race.
Wins 6th GP.
Will be world champion at some point.

Maybe we could have the press concentrate on something other than football for a while as we're soaring high in a world class sport for a change!

Well Done Lewis

Alonso had a face like a smacked arse!
Let's just hope Lewis can keep this superb start to his F1 career going. I would have loved to see him racing with Schumacher!.

Roll on Indianapolis.....
