PS. I just read some of the posts linked on the Guardian website. There are some very interesting opinions on the veracity of events of 9/11 as reported by the US government and the media. I never really realised how little evidence of the air crash exists...which is deeply worrying even if you're not a conspiracy theorist... :(

Seems however compelling it is, the Greengrass movie treads a very neutral path indeed.

Finally went to see this last night and so pleased I did. I totally agree with Jimbo's comments. This film is not about sensationalism or american patriotism - it is purely & simply telling the story of what happened as best it can.
One of the most emotional films I've ever watched and yes, I too was willing the passengers to overthrow the terrorists and bring the plane down safely -even though I knew the ending only too well. :(

A hard film to watch but I would urge you all to see it -in the cinema rather than on dvd if you can...
