Star Trek: The Next Generation and Orbital

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

It's 106 miles to Chicago.
We got a full tank of gas,
half a pack of cigarettes.
It's dark and we are wearing sunglasses

For starters, it clearly states in the forum rules that discussion of sample sources is allowed, but that no one officially connected with the band will verify any sources.

Secondly, the samples that Orbital use can fall into 2 categories. 1) So easy to spot, my can can guess where they're from or 2) I'll reckon that Phil & Paul would have trouble working out where they came from.

Lets face it, sampling stuff like 'Star Trek' is fairly easy to work out...

Agreed. Although I couldnt imagine you doing the can can...I personally like to sit by the window when using the grey matter.
Each to his own though.

I was tired, I'd had a long hard day at work and I wasn't concentrating... It was a typo. Not that anyone else makes mistakes... Nooooo ;)
