Fabric Live 25 - High Contrast.

Uplifting DnB with some great funky beats. I prefer this to the down and dirty, gritty, subzero electro pant soiling hardcore DnB that makes my bingo wings flap about with the lo end vibrations.

I'm currently NOT listening to KLF - White Room LP, which I purchased for a meager 6 euros, since I don't actually have an LP player.

But I'm glad for the purchase all the same...

My copy hasn't come in the mail yet :(

And seriously I can't stop listening to Lou's album... everyone go purchase it from your download site of choice! CD doesn't come out until end of January in the UK, no international date yet :(

So you're not a Pendulum fan then?

np: Pendulum - Out Here

This is much more Pendulum doing Plumpy stuff than drum n' bass.

They're ok.
Fasten your seatbelts is one of my tunes of the year, but the albums a bit too heavy going.

I don't really know much about DnB nowadays, but i was more into the Bukem/earth stuff.
New Forms was a great album IMO.
London elektricity are good, but the new Fabric is very much in that vein.

NP Kraftwerk - vitamin from M/M.
Bloody awsome album :P

Front 242 - HeadHunter 3.0

i don't understand the hype about Pendulum..
i didn't really liked their prodigy remix, and i think their DnB is a bit like carnival music..

like Aphrodite did with his jump up.

ah, well. who's asking me.

I am now listening to Tiga & Zyntherius - Sunglasses at night.

Personally, I love Pendulum AND Aphrodite, but then I am an old school Drum n' Bass head (back when it was Jungle) and so this is just a natural progression for me...

np: Urban Hype - Trip 2 Trumpton

There's still a difference between Jungle and Drum n' Bass (altho it's usually piled on one big heap :P)

and i love good jungle & DnB too. (and other sub genres) But jump up is just kinda boring.
or as ishkur stated:
Every song is exactly the same!!!! EVERY GOD DAMN FUCKING SONG!!! The only thing that changes is the stupid rolling basslines--and not by much. Heh. This is worse than Anthem Trance in its predictability, its formulaicness, its dilapidated sense of value or worth. I once thought of making an Aphrodite music generator where you choose your hip hop sample, your intro scratch, and then your bassline, hit the "mix" button and away you go: insta jump up tune. Making music out of templates is boring, guys. Stop it already.
hehe
altho Style from the darkside was a nice tune.

Now listening:
Dj Rap - Digable Bass
(nice jungle :) )

Alexander Robotnick - 'Problemes D'Amour'

Awesome 80s acidy techno from Sonic The Hedgehog's arch-nemesis.

Matthias Schaffhauser-coincidance(Trentemoller remix)

Makes me want to go 'ooooooooo' much like Alan Partridge after getting a second series.

Kvagga - Astrodemolisher :)

Can be downloaded by right-clicking this link and choosing "save target as...":
http://www.angelfire.com/music6/quagga/ ... lisher.mp3

Kinda oldskool this one. Might be a bit too boomboom for the tastes of this forum, but there's also loads of acid to make up for that. ;)

Any comments would be appreciated.
