Super 8
Wasnt too impressed by it - 2 huge names in Film and they made this?
Dont quite think the "nostalgia" element to it quite worked... also too many plot holes.

Manhunter
I do like a bit of Michael Mann, and this is much better than Red Dragon from the same Thomas Harris book. All bold 80's backdrops and lingering camerawork.
Also I like to think that William Petersen's character is a precursor to Grisham in CSI.

The Adjustment Bureau... really enjoyed it. Lots of negative reviews, but I thought it was great.

Never seen Emily Blunt in a film before, but I thought she was awesome; sexy and vulnerable... and weird.
Masterchef finals on tonight and for the rest of the week... so no movies for me for a while (God I'm showing my age!).

Re: What's The Last Film You Watched?
Well enjoy yourself Matt.
Dont forget to stand up in front of Mr Leparmentier during your meal and say:
"Don't try to frighten us with your sorcerous ways, Lord Vader. Your sad devotion to that ancient Jedi religion has not helped you conjure up the stolen data tapes, or given you enough clairvoyance to find the rebels' hidden fortress... "
...and then roll around on the floor for 10 minutes clutching your windpipe.
Oh and record it on your mobile and post it up on Youtube!
