ulrich schnauss update

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Was listening to Tom Middleton's 'Sound of the Cosmos' CD earlier on and there's a Schnauss track called 'you were the only one around' on it.....does anyone know if this track has appeared elsewhere?

Only on the US re-issued 2xCD of "Far Away Trains Passing By" - before this, it was exclusive.

Might go to that Ulrich gig at the Big Chill bar - haven't yet been, and it'll be free to get in anyway! :)

Ulrich Schnauss is actually playing The Big Chill House on Saturday 9th December (which unfortunately clashes with a Gerald gig)...

Bent are playing live on Thursday 30th November at The Big Chill House, however, and I *shall* be there! 8)

According to Echaskech, all three are still playing tomorrow!

I'm not sure what I'm doing. Lady Jessop cannot make the venue until after 8pm, so I'd have to waste two hours beforehand somehow.

Yup, I really must get some glasses, and why does the Big Chill have multiple venues! :P

To clarify:

- Ulrich Schnauss, Jon Hopkins and Echaskech are playing at the Big Chill Bar

Timings:

7pm - Echaskech downtempo electronica set
8pm - Jon Hopkins folky/soundtrack/downtempo set
9pm - Ulrich Schnauss indie/shoegaze/electronica set
10pm - Jon Hopkins uptempo set ("including exclusive new album tracks")
11pm - Echaskech breaks set

- Bent are playing live at the Big Chill House

Which is a shame that they clash...

So, Ulrich and Jon Hopkins are also playing the Big Chill House on 9th December!

The plentiful supply of public houses in London Town are highly recommended for spare two hours here and there.

Has anyone heard anything about how the new album is going, if at all?. 'Tis begining to seem like a bit of a stretch back to ASIP at this stage.

Ulrich has done a remix for Mark Gardener (ex-Ride) that has just been released on 7" single:
