The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.
Also, in Mixmag they say that 'Drop the Pressure' was originally inspired by 'Dr Beat' so Mylo wanted to pay tribute by ingeniously putting the two together.
That's bollocks! Mylo told me that after hearing Doctor Pressure he thought he must have subliminally had Dr.Beat in his mind when he made Drop The Pressure as they fitted together so well. It certainly wasn't based on Dr.Beat. He also said it was funny that Doctor Pressure was the first bootleg he had heard using a track from Destroy Rock N Roll and yet Drop The Pressure was the only track on his album that didn't actually contain any samples.

'Bill and Doug, who own a massage parlour in Brighton (next to the Queen's Head) minced up to Mylo at a recent gig and suggested that it might be an idea to mash up one of his tunes with one by Gloria Esterfan. Mylo, remembering that he was thinking the same thing just last week, ingeniously thought of Drop The Pressure and Dr Beat. What a man!'
Statement from Davemacfrombath:
I have nothing whatsoever against gay men or lesbians; indeed one of my best friends is gay and I have often been known to think enviously of the sheer amount of casual sex to be had by the rascals.
Number 9 in the iTunes chart so far (where you can purchase the radio edit for 79p)! Also, within iTunes, you can now download the 2005 versions of Guilty Of Love, Zenophile and Musclecar plus Soft Rock.
In further Mylo news, there will be an exclusive track released on the upcoming War Child album (initially an internet-only release on 9th September, with the CD release a couple of weeks later).
Also, his brand new single might well be called "Replay"!
