Mine is from The Transformers, obviously. :)

Meet SOUNDWAVE, the evil Decepticon who could transform into a walkman! Also, he had an arsenal of mini-robots hidden inside his cassette tray (Buzzaw, Ravage and Lazerbeak, among others), who could all transform into cassette tapes.

He had a really cool voice to boot!
The Hex

Some people don't get the Transformers. It's simple. They're big robots. And they change into things. And they fight. This is beautiful and mad. If you do not get this, there is something missing in your soul. - Paul O'Brien

It's about 100m tall... and is essentially a giant iron atom... I love it! They've been working on refurbishing it (it was built for the 1958 world's fair) instead of aluminum the spheres will now be shiny stainless steel.

trying to find a decent drunk Lahey one tho to replace it as he is my fav character from season 5!

Mine is erm just me "djing" at the Custard Factory. A friend of the Brum Creative took the picture in B&W and it looks kinda of strange as the full pic has kit n wires everywhere. I know a few people thought my avatar was a beetle or sumit :)

Usernick - I think your avatar was from the Choice Single of the week in the NME ? I remember seeing the pics and thinking wtf :)

Mine is of the legendary (at least in Finland) Spede aka Pertti Pasanen. He wrote loads of comedy shows in the 70s and 80s and from then on had his own sort of Generation Game style show getting contestants to do awkward stuff.

He was either very annoying or very amusing. I think he became a characture of himself in later years and finally popped his clogs about 4 years ago in september 2001. He was always a very animated bloke tho, even in his old age, hence the animated gif.
Check out the menu's at http://www.spede.fi for more info. Wont mean much unless you can read finnish tho :) and all the Finns on this board surely know who he is already!

Slugs! HE created slugs! They can't hear. They can't speak. They can't operate machinery. Are we not in the hands of a lunatic?
