Glastonbury Lineup

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

I'm happy with Basement Jaxx. Saw them last year and I really enjoyed it. Very psychedelic visuals and just...fun.

Seen the Primals a few times. I'm glad though cos I thought Keene was just the replacement and that was a disappointment for me.
I don't know you people...why are you here?

Tough call, that one! ;)

Friday night could be tricky (Royksopp (hardly *live* but still!) vs. System 7 and 808 State vs. the Glint night vs. Fatboy Slim vs. Hybrid)... same with Saturday (New Order vs. Chris Clark then Speedy J vs. Chromeo vs. Four Tet)... Sunday's not as bad.

I need a series of clones! Now!

Friday I'm not sure what I'd pick... I've never seen the Chems do anything, or Fatboy, or Hybrid (even though they've all been to Toronto... funny, that). I think it's between those three. Or System 7 then 808 state. Oh goodness.

That Saturday night on the G Stage does look deadly though. I *think*, however, that I will have to see New Order then head over hoping to catch the end of Speedy J (I've seen him before... great stuff).

I'd choose Hybrid and New Order if I was going.

Well, 808 State is a DJ set only, and not a live set, although both Daz and Andy are really good! :)

Should be seeing them live in Turin next weekend (together with New Order), and New Order this Friday at Hyde Park (but it looks like rain... :( )!!

Still peeved that I'm only going to Turin on the Friday, thus missing out on the Aphex Twin and Chris Cunningham event on the Thursday... :x
