Hey Poo. Yeah I know I've been neglecting this place of late but now I'm back and the darn thing is making me log in EVERY time I visit, even though I am ticking that lil box that says something like 'keep me logged in every visit'! Can you fix it please

I don't use Myspace anymore, you'll find me on Facebook ;-b

Might have something to do with Cookies - i.e. there's a corrupt one for loopzorbital.com
To delete a specific cookie is quite difficult (unless you know what you're doing), and deleting all of them means that none of the other websites you visit will remember your username/password either, but will after you've typed them in the once per site...
The quick way (but this does have the side-effect of deleting all cookies on your system - see above):
In Internet Explorer 6.0, you do:
- Select "Tools" from the drop-down menu at the top, and select "Internet Options"
- Click "Delete Cookies" (where it says "Temporary Internet Files")
The long way (just deletes the Loopz cookies):
In Internet Explorer 6.0, you do:
- Select "Tools" from the drop-down menu at the top, and select "Internet Options"
- Click on the "Settings" button (where it says "Temporary Internet Files")
- Click "View Files"
- Click the "Search" button at the top, select "All Files And Folders", and type "loopzorbital" (minus quotes) in the filename box. Click "Search"
- One or two files should appear that say something like "Cookie:<user>@loopzorbital.com" (mine has two - one with "www.loopzorbital.com" and one with "loopzorbital.com"
- Click on each in turn and press the "Delete" key on your keyboard - say "Yes" in each case.
When you next log onto the forum, you'll be asked again for your username and password - click the checkbox that says yes, remember my details, and voila!

(I actually don't have a mac tho)

It's 106 miles to Chicago.
We got a full tank of gas,
half a pack of cigarettes.
It's dark and we are wearing sunglasses

Re: this forum - log in
whatever the solution, its not the websites fault
i would go with Nicks 1st part and also maybe worth checking your security settings within "whatever browser you use". But that's another kettle of fish!
i wouldnt buy a Mac...they are for wallys, clever musicians (just in case some certain folk are reading this...ahem) and non techies....
actually...non techies...go get one Jane
