I really don't know what to do. With the Eurostar, we could go over, go to the Brixton show, sleep somewhere and be back home less than 24 hours later... but I have no idea if Wouter's parents would be willing to watch a 3 month old overnight :(

You KNOW it's worth it Aimee, come on! I left mine for the first time about that age, it's only one night I'm sure the babs will be fine :)

I may regret this later but I'm opening my house to internationals, in fact I feel a Loopz sleep over after Friday coming on!!! :twisted:

Oh by the way I got 2 tix for Brixton only, thought about the Big Chill but it's too much hassle to arrange with the kids & not driving.

Messages for others:

Kansler & TomBob: YOU HAVE to come to Brixton!!!
Rach: ahh Brixton is SO special, after the Jools Holland show it was my first proper gig too, so many great memories :D
Will a certain someone be back from Japan??

SO GLAD ALL YOU PEOPLE ARE GOING - I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS - CAN'T WAIT!!!!

We're heading to his parents' tonight, so we'll ask them then if they'd be willing to babysit...

If they say yes, I'd like to reserve two spots at Hotel Jane ;) Oh, and could we have our tickets posted to you? £22 postage is insane.

But tickets only cost ten shillings last time they played...

Seriously though, 1000 tickets overnight - outstanding!

It's 106 miles to Chicago.
We got a full tank of gas,
half a pack of cigarettes.
It's dark and we are wearing sunglasses

I just realized I'll be in Spain between 22-26th of September :(

this means no Brixton gig for me.

However, I'm definitely going to one of the other ones, probably either Global Gathering or The Big Chill. :)

Babysitter = arranged
Tickets = booked

And after 12 years, Wouter and I will finally get to go together to see the group that got us together in the first place!

first 1000 tickets were allocated to fan base for pre-sale. They sold out very quickly and that's why it was showing as sold out around 9/10am. More was released for pre-sale for the fan base but they are being sold at the "general public" price. So not only did we get an early shout for the tickets but we also got them cheaper.

28 still a good price i think.....
This morning's AMG Presale here http://tinyurl.com/cskkwk has them at £25. Seems a bit anomolous :shock:

They do add a service fee though- looks to be £6.24 on two tickets so the end result is the same... much cheaper international shipping though, and an instant print option!

yea, those AMG costs make the other place seem like a rip-off. 2.50 versus 25.00? there's no comparison.
