What Are You Listening To Now?

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Nice stuff - looking forward to the EP next month - at long last... Now, I wish they'd release 'Boom Bang Bombay' on CD! :D

Guy Pratt was, I think, part of Pink Floyd (bassist, if memory serves me correctly). He also collaborated with Jimmy Cauty on the "I Want To 1-2-1 With You" - that hugely annoying mobile phone song of a couple of years ago! :P

Found this on the web:

"Guy Pratt
Guy Pratt was one of the bass players on Bryan Ferry's Bête Noire and Mamouna albums. Guy co-wrote Seven Deadly Sins with Bryan Ferry & Chester Kamen. He can be seen on the video for Bryan Ferry's video for The Right Stuff.

Guy Pratt plays the bass on the post-Waters Pink Floyd CD's The Division Bell and Pulse and the soundtrack for La Carrera Panamericana. He has performed with Pink Floyd since the Momentary Lapse Of Reason tour. Pratt also made studio sessions with the Dream Academy and Jimmy Nail amongst others and performed with David Gilmour at the Chelsea Arts Ball in London 1992. In 1996 Pratt married Gala Wright, the daughter of Richard Wright.

Guy Will be joining Roxy Music for their show at Isle Of Wight Festival on 11th June 2005"

Infusion - 'Probe'

New live-only track. Faaaark, it's great. Driving bleepy greatness. Insane digitised vocal soloing too.
