I think he's rather charming actually. Its nice to see a normal bloke go in there instead of some chavvy twat in a football shirt who "gives it large" all the time.
I dont think he's fanciable but there is something about him I quite like.
You look real great.

Yet again, we are to be bombarded with images and pronouncements of people you would probably want to smack with a cricket bat in real life, all for the sake of cheap television, cheaper laughs and 15 minutes of fame. Remember, the next Jade Goody could be only a show away, and look how enriched the world was with her presence.

A psychopath should set loose on the set with a machete and a chain gun, the winner being the last person to be brutally hacked to death. That is the reality tv I'd watch.

Saw a clip of this Ziggy dude the other day and thought he loved himself a bit and was a bit of a prick!!!

He was doing a segment on BBLB or some shite like that where he had to say who his celebrity look alike is and the twat said his was Suzanne Shaw...who for starters is female but he apparently dated, i guess his way of dropping that into the conversation. I was totally expecting him to say Christian Bale!!!

I then switched back to Deal or No Deal and resumed my life...

Please don't anyone get me wrong, I enjoy what some would call pretty inane shite as well.
But while we're on this, here follows a lecture...

I just fume at the importance given to this form of entertainment (and I use the term advisedly) for several reasons.

No one should need to watch the semi-contrived comings and goings of random strangers on the telly. Just about any situation one can find in your own life is contrived to some extent and populated by people just as randon and strange. The conceit is that the contrivances are orchestrated by primarily: oneself, secondly; by those you interact with, and thirdly; the society in which you choose to move. You just have to look around you. Real life is an an awful lot more enthralling because you are one of the contestants.

This type of show distracts people from the real news. The amount of incestous coverage in the media given to reality shows robs space from what is truely important, both in the use of space and in the white noise generated. Real news is crowded out and shouted out.

Finally (for the moment anyway)

What probably galls me more than anything is the amount of money given to the shows directly from the watching public. It could be argued by an individual that the percentage given by them is miniscule. Very true, but a desert is made on many separate grains of sand, or in this case, many small donations of lucre. The return is very poor value for money, if only for the difference between the amount spent on the production of the show itself and the amount pocketed elsewhere. If there was something other than bubble gum for the brain at the end from what little there is spent on the show I wouldn't mind so much.
Also don't like the fact that this is essentially PPV telly through the back door.

All deeply hypocritical on my part of course. We all make choices on what to watch and listen to. I am as guilty as anyone as to being deluded as regards what important.

Anyway.......

Pooka is of course referring to this Ziggy dude from BB...not me!

I dont love myself, although I'd probably go out on a few dates with myself if I asked nicely just for the experience! lol.

I know Ebony well as we work together, she was telling me yeterday about the press hounding her (tabloids) but the only interview she has done is to the local paper.

I also just posted something about Emily being kicked out but my post has not appeared for some weird reason.

Anyway this is what I said:

Emily thrown out of Big Brother

Well Emily was getting on my nerves but Channel 4 have got their pants in a twist judging by that report that Jane posted.

Its only because of celebrity big brother they have chucked her out as they have to be seen to have learnt their lesson what with loosing sponsers etc and the general Hoo-Ha over Shilpa Shetty.

I hope she doesnt get called a racist because of that comment she made. She hopefully only said it as a joke but I will have to watch it to see what context she said it in.
She's not as thick as Danielle Lloyd or that Jack Tweed twat but
Danielle blatantly made nasty comments yet she is always in the papers with her tits out or some shit, just because she is attractive. (I still think she's a dog) It seems its ok to say it in spite but not in jest??!

And Charly can fuck off saying she was shocked. She probably uses that word all the time to her rude boy "brothers". Moose.

She probably did say it without any racial connotation but BB have made their own rod for their back due to the exploits of the last lot.

Very cyncial of Channel 4 to do this and play on it to try and restore some credibility on their part though... :x
