Slacking  moi :? I've never slacked in my life 8)

I've been pretty busy packing, getting ready to go etc...

Can't find much in the way of details for this. Their myspace only says Album Launch, Cargo, 28th June and thir website is down for maintenance.

Thought it might be fun as an old gang of loopz heads might remember dancing on the stage, speaker (bar?) anywhere we could... back in the day. Philmanns falling asleep cuddled up with the speakers.

It'll be my first night out in London for a couple of years and it's HEXSTATIC!!

Is the Foundry still open for business as usual? We could get our usual spot in the reading room...

Have already bought a ticket via the Cargo website:

28 06 07 : HEXSTATIC
The worlds greatest VJs, electro-breaks duo return

Hexstatic take to the stage for a full, live A/V set, which at 2 hours long is a rare treat. On top of the fact that this is one of their now legendary Cargo performances it's made all the more special because this is the launch party for their new album 'When Robots Go Bad'.

Hexstatic are the funkiest and most hilarious audio visual performers in the world of breaks and beats, not to mention consistent purveyors one of the most enjoyable dancefloor parties ever …Ever. If this wasn't enough, tonight, the endlessly inventive duo will be performing with 2 live vocalists that feature on their new album.

'When Robots Go Bad' sees them produce a collection of slamming electro pop cuts, taking influences from their love of early electro, pop, acid house and hip hop. The album features vocalist and female MC B + , the rough styles of MC Profisee, vocalist Ema J from Edinburgh unit Great Ezcape and the soaring soul voice of London's Sabirajade.

So to recap:

1. Hexstatic
2. Album Launch Party
3. Extra long 2 hour set
4. Fun

Tickets for this unique event will go quick so get them early. Do not miss....

Please note : Cargo only sells advance tickets over the internet.

Tickets available by following the link at the bottom of the page. Hard tickets are available from http://www.ticketweb.co.uk

Cargo is an over 18's Venue

Me n' Phil should be there, if he's pulled his finger out and sent an email... ;)

Yes Daniel-san, the Foundry IS still there, but it's now got a mahoosive advertising 'behemoth' across the front of it, so looks like it's closed, but it is open...
