Madness & Me - Album Review

Post by memly »

So for those of you who have heard it. What are your thoughts?

As a body of work, I am really impressed. The production is rather slick, there does seem to be a certain sound that links the tunes that is far enough removed from the Orbital sound to be fresh and original.

I am loving the artwork. The cover is great!

My initial thoughts are how impressive the production is, the clarity of the percussion and the lead synths are incredible.
The bottom end too is warm and inviting.
Nice subtle melodies that keep the tracks interesting.

"Run with the Rain" is definately floating my boat. Great vocals and a suberb build to a bleeptastic melody.

This will album will certainly be playing through my speakers a lot this spring...
I don't know you people...why are you here?

I just got my Japanese import today, and after just one listen, I am in love. I wonder if Paul can top this? :)

Some people don't get the Transformers. It's simple. They're big robots. And they change into things. And they fight. This is beautiful and mad. If you do not get this, there is something missing in your soul. - Paul O'Brien
