What Are You Listening To Now?

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

We were late getting to the gig (caught the last track of the awful support band!) and then stuck near to the bar....1) because the place was rammed and I hate crowds and 2) because it was near to the bar...we saw you jumping up and down at the front though!

Great gig, they are more solid live in their 40's than they have ever been! Loved the Perfect Kiss/Blue Monday mashup before the encore!

No worries, just send me your address (if you want them on CDR's).

Yeah, Newcastle gig was superb - I personally think the best one so far (better than Blackpool last night, mainly due to the sounds)...

Anyway, two more this week - Glasgow on Wednesday and Thursday, so more beer/lack of sleep/no voice for another couple of days! :)

NP: Edward Barton - This Is A Z Bend (but this is not a Z Car)!

Leftfield - Live 1994

Amazing find of an amazing early Leftfield set. Good quality too.

Freeland - 'Burn The Clock'

The last great thing he did before turning into a huge twat.

It was a good album ('Now & Them') but better live... I've not heard his new stuff, but that Wink/Middleton/Freeland collaborative 12" was more pants than a pair of M&S y-fronts!!!

np: Cylob - Cut The Midrange, Drop The Bass

Does anyone else think that Adam Freeland is starting to look more like Gyles Brandreth these days?Brandreth certainly knocking out the better tunes, that's for sure.

Now on:Sexonwax-keep it real.

Freeland were crap live. The girl singer was good but Freeland pretending to play keyboard and prancing around in a George Bush mask was just embarrassing. The album's mediocre too – some proper shit on there.

Listening to the new album "Woodwork" by sometimes-Biosphere-collaborator Per Henrik Svalastog. Pretty quiet stuff...

Senor Coconut-smooth operator (Agoria remix)

Apparently,Sade said this was the kind of vibe she was trying to recreate on the original but never quite managed it.
