Emmet are one of 4 acts contesting the 'Spare Room Music' feature on the Vic McGlynn show on BBC 6 Music for the month of May. The winner gets a play every day at the end of the month...woo yay etc.

oh I KNOW. What the hell was THAT all about. In however many years I've been doing this, its the first time thats happened

The thing that riles me somewhat is they could have phoned me up I could have had another CD in the post with them the next day. I'm not sending another one in and waiting 4-5 months thats fer sure

Voted. Pretty good effort, especially the vocals and I dig the vocoder in the mid-part. The tracks reminds me a bit of latter day OMD, maybe because the vocal reminds me of Andy McCluskey

BTW, interesting to see that BBC still imagine people recording stuff to tape (judging by the page design)

We cover a wide range of genres which seems to be so our disadvantage, people dont have a pigeon hole to put us in if you know what I mean

Let It Run is one of our uplifting pop/dance things which we're not afraid to flirt with, and when we do it live it gets very beefy indeed.
