Untapped brilliance - Satan (Rhyme & Reason Vocal mix)

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Untapped brilliance - Satan (Rhyme & Reason Vocal mix)

Post by stimpee »

This mix is great but its got those loons doing their Mr.C impresson on it going on about how his brain is an Atari ST computing music just like a flutey flutey. Rhythmically insane, indeed.

Anyone care to dig out some audio tools and reconstruct an instrumental version of what is a brilliant remix of Satan otherwise? I'm sure it can be done. The loops are there I think from painful repeated listening.

I lay down the challenge. It deserves to be done. I'm gonna have a go but its gonna sound awful.

EDIT: I need to listen to this more! the mix is subtley different in the instrumentation.

If only there was an instrumental to this... The MC drive me mad!

I would do it, but I've got far too many other unfinished projects kicking around that need my attention...

Before I start chopping I thought I'd treat the people here to the rap clip from the tune. Kind of the opposite to what I'm trying to do...

I'd say enjoy but that would be dishonest

I've always wanted an Instrumental of this version. I always thought it was better than the original. Juts needed to lose the rap.
