Breakspoll Awards 2006

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

It's the night before Phil n' I are DJing at 93ft East and I may be tempted by this seeing as I've got the Friday off. If there are still tickets left at the end of the month, I'm up for it.

The only breaks producers consistently doing it for me these days are PMT/False Prophet, Koma & Bones, Elite Force and Meat Katie. Otherwise the scene's pretty much turned to shit over the last few years. IMO, of course.

The last time I went to a breaks night it was turd on a string(with the exception of Evil Nine, who saved the night with their magic tiny keyboard and boxful of heap-um-good tunes) but am sort of tempted to go just for old times sake.

Abe Duque and Marc Romboy@The Egg the following night,so may just save myself for that (although I'm sure Dung will talk me into practising the zen of beer again and get me lolloping like an idiot down to fabric).
