What's your favourite track from the '80s?

I'm putting on an '80s night at a club round these parts and I need some new blood. I have all my favourites but I don't want to run out of tracks . Also thought you might like to get a track played in your honour...

Any style - pop, disco, electro, breakdance, hiphop...

Just one or two please, no discographies please (dog

You should check out the GTA vice city soundtrack

lots of great tracks on there.

Ooh you gotta have some Hip Hop! I guess you'd already thought of some tracks (like the ones I played you that time LOL)

Here's a few pointers:

Let the music play - Shannon (to start?)
The Show - Doug E Fresh (god this reminds me of my last day at school!)
Bang Zoom - Roxanne Shante (for the comedy factor)
Planet Rock - Afrika Bambata
The message - Grandmaster Flash (always goes down well!)

For cheesy 80's girly pop, you can't beat Cyndi Lauper - Girls just wanna have fun, The Bangles - Manic Monday or even Madonna and Holiday

I also really like Waves by Blancmange which might fit well in an electronica-leaning set...
