AQUASKY & LONGRANGE - CROSSWIRE - REMIX CONTEST

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Dylan Rhymes mix of Girls & Boys for the win.

There isn't a Longrange mix. 'Crosswire' is the B-side to the Aquasky vs Elhornet dbl 12" release. 'Crosswire' is a collaborative track between Aquasky and Longrange and is on the remix 12". There is only one mix of it, until the results of the remix competition are announced.

The competition closes today :D

whew, I uploaded mine last night, kinda rushing it unfortunately. Plus the limitations of 6 megs AND 96kpbs max were ridiculous! I had to cut my track by two minutes off the end to make it fit.

I'll try and make mine available for interested peers, in case the competition winner will be someone in bad taste (i.e. not me). First I have to find a site that allows for 15 meg file uploads. I'll think of that tomorrow.

BTW, sent you a link to my remix in a PM... ;) If you're sticking yours up for download from here, I might do the same if no-one objects.

It's 106 miles to Chicago.

Thanks Dave, bring back the nightmares why don't you? ;) You're right, the Aquasky cover comes second.

well thanks, but...

?? Where did you get my remix from ??
I haven't uploaded it anywhere except the contest page...

I'm confused! Are you involved with the contest, steve? :)

...

At any rate, I've put a few finishing touches on my remix (sadly the panel will not be a witness to those), and a higher quality version is available online. If somebody wants it, PM me. Or, if no-one opposes, I'll link it here shortly, as can Dogs and others.
