Favourite Album Cover

Post by memly »

Title speaks for itself really.
Regardless of the albums content, this is purely based on style/image.

I'm sure this has probably been done here before but I havent seen it....

So here is mine

Fast Asleep - Funki Porcini.

I love everything about this cover... (even the rug is a huge circuit board!).

The albums not bad either.

Spinal Tap - 'Smell The Glove'

How much more black could it be? None... none more black.

Slugs! HE created slugs! They can't hear. They can't speak. They can't operate machinery. Are we not in the hands of a lunatic?

That Funky Porcini one is brilliant. I've only just noticed that the synths and equipment spell out the band and album name...

Yes, because that's got the word "Metallica" and a picture of a coiled snake on the cover.

D'oh, you fell for my cunning ruse... Then again, I don't expect you've seen 'A Year and a Half in the Life of Metallica pt 2' ;)

My fave cover?

Try Cradle of Filth's 'Vestal Masturbation'... I'm not going to link an image, this is a family show. If you want disturbing, thats the one to do it.

The t-shirt that went with the album caused quite a stir too...

I worked at a Cradle of Filth Gig years ago. We were given some crew T-shirts afterwards. My wife burnt mine
It really was that bad. I wanted to keep the back of it, at least that was just words (Desire me like Satan). But the front was just vile
