Phil Hartnoll DJ sets

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Hello mate.
I'd go and see him. :D Only seen him DJ the once, but that was great. It obviously helps if your prone to some orbital classics and breaks.
I don't know you people...why are you here?

they're great, go see him.
any apparent problems with his mixing skills in the early days have supposedly been fixed, not that i ever cared (or indeed noticed, i may have been drunk :D), and his tune selection has always been spot on. a good solid breaks set with the odd orbital classic chucked in for good measure.
dance your cares away, worries for another day

Yeah his set at Fabric was a little shaky on the dj-ing skills but his tune selection was second to none...and you cant beat hearing lots of Orbital tunes in a club mixed with some cool breaks and his Longrange stuff....esp Dr Hoover...that tune rocks!

Enjoy mate! :D

You'll probably get to hear at least one new LongRange track too, so I'd advise going...

Phil's mixing is improving all the time but his tune selection is faultless.
